Abstrakt: Příspěvek diskutuje aktuální zvýšený příliv uprchlíků do Evropy. Zabývá se především otázkami, do kterých zemí uprchlíci směřují a kterými faktory je tato jejich volba podmíněna. Tyto faktory lze rozdělit do čtyř kategorií na geografické, kulturní, ekonomické a politické, přičemž všechny se do jisté míry doplňují, v různých případech se však uplatňují různými způsoby a s různou intenzitou. Výsledkem působení uvedených faktorů je pestrá mapa Evropy, jejíž země se významně liší co do počtu i složení svých uprchlíků.

Abstract (EN): Factors Impacting Refugees’ Decision of a Target Country. This article discusses the current wave of refugees coming into Europe. It focuses on questions regarding the countries to which refugees tend to come and factors that impact this decision. The factors can be divided into four categories: geographic, cultural, economic and political, and yet they all complement each other to some degree. In different cases the factors manifest themselves in different ways and different intensities. The result of these factors and their impacts is a variegated map of Europe, with countries differing significantly in the number and types of refugees.
