Abstrakt: Praha, Vídeň a Budapešť jsou historicky, kulturně a architektonicky podobnými městy. Jejich společná minulost jim poskytla podobné podmínky k rozvoji cestovního ruchu, přesto je v současnosti intenzita cestovního v těchto městech rozdílná. Praha je dnes destinací, jejíž objem cestovního ruchu je nejvyšší z těchto měst. Vyšší počet turistů ale nemusí pro destinaci znamenat vždy příznivý vývoj, může mít negativní dopady jak na místní společnost a okolní prostředí, tak na kvalitu cestovního ruchu.

Abstract (EN): Prague, Vienna and Budapest: Significant Destinations for Urban Tourism. Prague, Vienna and Budapest are similar cities historically, culturally and architecturally. And while their shared history has given them similar conditions for tourism development, the actual intensity of tourism is different in these cities. Of the three, Prague is the destination with the highest volume of tourism. A higher number of tourists, however, does not necessarily equate to positive development. It could negatively impact the local community and surrounding area, as well as the quality of tourism itself.
