Abstrakt: Integrace imigrantů je nedílnou součástí migrace a její úspěch závisí do značné míry právě na opatřeních a aktivitách na lokální úrovni, tedy právě tam, kde se imigranti potkávají s majoritou. Tento článek popisuje situaci imigrace a integrace v okrese Kolín v jednotlivých oblastech a zaměřuje se na probíhající integrační aktivity zajišťované městem i dalšími organizacemi.

Abstract (EN): Integration of immigrant at the local level: Case study of the Kolín region. Integration of immigrants is an important part of migration. Its success largely depends on activities and measures taken at the local level because that is where immigrants and the majority society actually meet. The article focuses on the region of Kolín and it describes the integration processes and activities in different areas of integration provided by local institutions and other organisations.
