Abstrakt: Článek seznamuje s problematikou íránské provincie Balúčistán. Pozornost je zaměřena na bezpečnostní rizika, která js ou vázána na íránský Balúčistán, a to i s ohledem na dění v sousedním Pákistánu. S ním jsou spjaty jak problémy související s terorismem, tak i s pašováním a dalšími formami kriminality.

Abstract (EN): The Baloch Region: A Hotspot of Tension in Iran. this article describes the Baloch region in iran, emphasizing political-security issues in context of the surrounding area. it characterizes Balochistan’s inhabitants in terms of ethnicity, religion and customs and describes their position towards the iranian regime. in addition, it discusses reasons and primary motives behind Baloch irredentism, Baloch-based, anti-iranian terrorism, smuggling and organized crime.
