Abstrakt: Cílem příspěvku je představit nový trend amenitní migrace jakožto typ migrace za lepším životním prostředím. Vstupní diskuze základních charakteristik amenitní migrace, jejích příčin a důsledků je doplněna o stručný popis amenitní migrace v Česku na příkladu regionu Prachaticka.

Abstract (EN): Amenity Migration. This paper seeks to introduce readers to a recent trend in migration research. Amenity migration is an emerging concept that focuses on ‘better-environment-seeking’ migration. Firstly, we discuss the basis of amenity migration, its primary driving forces and its consequences on affected areas. Secondly, we present a case study of amenity migration in Czechia, focused on research from the Prachatice region.
