Abstrakt: Text se zaměřuje na potomky Vietnamců v Česku a na základě analýzy biografických rozhovorů se snaží rozkrýt některé stereotypní představy, které o těchto mladých lidech kolují. Podrobněji se přitom věnuje tématu etnicity, identity a jejich vztahu k Vietnamu a vietnamské kultuře.

Abstract (EN): Descendants of Vietnamese in Czechia as we (do not) know them. The article examines the descendants of Vietnamese migrants in Czechia, drawing on an analysis of biographical interviews to challenge and deconstruct prevailing stereotypes about this group of young people. Particular emphasis is placed on questions of ethnicity and identity, as well as on their relationship with Vietnam and Vietnamese culture.
