Abstrakt: Tento článek pojednává o Vietnamské válce očima kritické geopolitiky, přesněji o tzv. populární geopolitice ve spojitosti s válkou ve Vietnamu. Na vybraných příkladech stručně ilustruje, jak je toto téma v rámci populární geopolitiky uchopeno aktéry, kteří populární geopolitiku tvoří. Některé z příkladů pocházejí z tehdejší doby, jiné poukazují na ozvěny tématu po mnoha letech.

Abstract (EN): Echoes of the Vietnam War in Western popular geopolitics. This article discusses the Vietnam War through the lens of critical geopolitics, more specifically popular geopolitics in relation to the Vietnam War. Using selected examples, it briefly illustrates how the war is reflected and how this topic is approached within popular geopolitics by the actors who shape popular geopolitics. Some of the examples are illustrated with contemporary photographs, while others show echoes of the topic years later.
