Abstrakt: Klimatická změna patří k největším globálním výzvám současnosti, a proto je nezbytné ji systematicky začleňovat i do vzdělávání budoucích učitelů. Článek představuje inovativní přístup Pedagogické fakulty Masarykovy univerzity, který propojuje přírodní, společenské i umělecké obory. Nový univerzitní předmět Klimatické vzdělávání nabízí studentům nástroje, jak toto komplexní téma uchopit smysluplně, citlivě a didakticky účinně.

Abstract (EN): Climate education: Geography as a bridge between disciplines. Climate change is one of the major global challenges of our time and therefore needs to be systematically integrated into teachers’ education. This article presents an innovative approach developed at the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University, which connects natural sciences, social sciences, and the arts. The new university course Climate Education provides future teachers with tools to understand this complex issue and to approach it in a meaningful, sensitive, and pedagogically effective way in their future teaching.
